RA Sushi of Chino Hills is known for the fresh twist it puts on fine Japanese fusion cuisine, the refreshing cocktails mixed up by its bartenders and a chic ambience that lets guests unwind.
With glowing red orbs and dimmed lighting creating RA’s signature moody décor, the restaurant offers a variety of items for everyone from sushi enthusiasts to guests looking to test the waters.
“Many people incorrectly assume all sushi contains raw fish. This is not the case,” says General Manager Jarett Vincent. “We can guide the inexperienced towards sushi rolls with cooked ingredients and for those who are feeling brave, make recommendations for great rolls to start with to have the raw sushi experience.”
RA is known for their signature dishes like the eye-catching Viva Las Vegas Roll and seasonal menu items such as salmon carpaccio, all of which push the boundaries of what a sushi dining experience can be.
“Our chefs are creative and enjoy exploring many tastes of Asia as well as ingredients from around the world to craft innovative menu items that won’t be found anywhere else,” Vincent says. “We have a new seasonal menu four times a year crafted from the flavors of the season.”
Tasting and Auction guests can look forward to sampling favorites including Tunacado Rolls, Tootsy Maki Rolls (crab, shrimp and cucumber topped with crunchy tempura bits and eel sauce) and RA Chips and Salsa. RA puts a spin on the traditional chips and salsa by mixing spicy tuna tartae with cucumber, avocado and fresh salsa served with wonton chips.
